Michael Fassbender is reportedly in talks to feature in the new Star Wars movie.
The Shame actor is said to be in early discussions for a major role in Star Wars: Episode VII and so joins a long list of talent that director J.J. Abrams is said to be meeting for the upcoming film.
Matrix actor Hugo Weaving is also named by the Hollywood Reporter and after recently being linked to Batman vs Superman, Girls actor Adam Driver is now being rumoured to be in meetings with director J.J Abrams.
Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch, 12 Years a Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and The Wire star Michael B. Jordon are among the other names mentioned.
Skins star Jack O'Connell, Magic Mike actor Alex Pettyfer and The Grand Budapest Hotel star Saoirse Ronan have also been linked to the movie in recent weeks.

The Hollywood Reporter also claims that the movie will now have a heavier focus than originally intended on the returning characters - Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher).
The characters' offspring will now be supporting characters in this film,  claims the magazine, but will take centre stage in the next two films in the new trilogy.
Film company Disney - which bought production company Lucasfilm a year ago - used an open audition process to find two actors to play major roles in the upcoming movie.
It searched for a "street smart" actress over 16 and a "smart, capable" 18-plus male, with both expected to be attractive, smart and athletic.
The film series is to be revived with a seventh film due to go into production this year, for release in 2015.
Disney and Lucasfilm declined to comment to the industry magazine, as did the agencies for the many actors named.
